Ball Aerospace was awarded an Integrated VHF/UHF/L-Band antenna system demonstration programme contract from Northrop Grumman Ship Systems, which sees the company's array mounted on the mast of US Navy CG 47 class Aegis cruisers and DDG 51 destroyers. Under this contract, amount undisclosed, Ball is teamed with Southwest Research Institute.
