Balco Metals increases recycling capabilities by purchasing Milwaukee company.

The purchase follows an 18-month period that saw Balco triple its sales and quadruple quad·ru·ple

"Adding Recycling World's capabilities means we can now pick up and recycle virtually anything our customers have, including retail, nonferrous metals, high-grade paper, as well as plastics, wooden pallets and cardboard shipping containers," Balco president Larry Snyder said.

Recycling World will be operated as a division of Balco. The company's president, Jeffrey Katz, and vice president Art Arnstein will serve as Balco vice presidents and report to Snyder.

Balco is affiliated with Cozzi Iron & Metal, Inc., Chicago, Illinois, the largest metal scrap processing company in the Midwest.
