, but to take issue with groups striving to live their Catholic faith in a deeper way is counterproductive for the church and the world.

There has always been a desire in the church to join together to help each other live the faith more fully and to see how people have desired this type of spiritual walk for many years. In reading about the Knights of Columbus Knights of Columbus, American Roman Catholic society for men, founded (1882) at New Haven, Conn. (where its headquarters are still located), by Father Michael J. McGivney. , you will also see that they were persecuted in the founding years, as many movements are today.
