The HR Balanced Scorecard AWG includes a series of three workshops held over a six-month period led by renowned thought leaders recognized as experts in their fields: Drs. Robert Kaplan and David Norton, creators of the Balanced Scorecard framework, and Drs. Brian Becker, Mark Huselid and Dave Ulrich, co-authors of The HR Scorecard: Linking People, Strategy and Performance (forthcoming from Harvard Business School Harvard Business School, officially named the Harvard Business School: George F. Baker Foundation, and also known as HBS, is one of the graduate schools of Harvard University.  Press, Spring, 2001). The draft of this book will serve as the workbook for the Action Working Group. Between these sessions the core team will work closely with member organizations to design, prototype, and implement scorecard templates customized to measure the strategic value of human capital. The AWG will begin its work based on two proven concepts: the Balanced Scorecard (Kaplan and Norton) and HR Champions (Dave Ulrich).
