BALA remain on track for runners-up spot and a possible Welsh Premier League ticket if Prestatyn Town's floodlight plans go awry.

Llandyrnog were looking for a double after their 1-0 away win, but Bala went in front after a blank first half through Mark Griffiths after home keeper Neil Hughes had twice denied them with fine saves.

LLANFAIRPWLL'S effort to shield injured goalkeeper Ben Heald n. 1. A heddle. , who twisted an ankle during the warm-up, succeeded for so long - until Flint's Phil Lloyd executed a glorious winning lob on 85 minutes.

Flint led early in the game through Andy Renshaw and John Hill, but Jason Harvey found the net twice to level the game, converting a cross from the left and firing in a free kick.

But Lloyd had the last laugh with his late winner.
