Baker to Provide Construction Management Services for I-95 Improvements At Philadelphia International Airport.

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 16, 1999--

Michael Baker Jr., Inc., has been selected for a $3.1 million contract by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to provide construction management support services during the $90 million reconfiguration and improvement of the Interstate Highway 95 Interchange at the Philadelphia International Airport. Michael Baker Jr., Inc., is a subsidiary of Michael Baker Corporation (AMEX:BKR).

Under its contract, Baker will provide oversight of construction activities for a two-year period which began in late November. Baker will service this contract from a field office on site with support from its permanent office in Horsham, Pa. Commenting on the selection, Thomas J.
