Baker Hughes Plans Deployment of LRN Legal Compliance and Education Center.

LRN, The Legal Knowledge Company, announced that Baker Hughes Inc., plans to deploy the LRN(R) Legal Compliance and Education Center (LCEC)(TM), a Web-based education solution to help in the continuous development of its ethical, worldwide corporate culture.

LCEC is a Web-based education solution providing more than 100 course modules on legal, ethics and compliance issues. Long-time LCEC subscribers include Shell, Texaco and Conoco. They were recently joined by Baker Hughes along with CMS Energy Corp., Transocean Sedco Forex and Equiva Services.

Through an interactive tutorial, online handbook and other educational tools, LCEC helps employees learn how to identify and avoid ethical and legal risks. And, when issues arise, the built-in tools for connecting employees with the appropriate legal counsel help head off issues before they become problems.
