Its headquarters is located in Airside Business Park, an office park near the Pittsburgh International Airport that the company (AMEX AMEX See: American Stock Exchange :BKR), has begun work on a $24.5 million contract from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) oversees transportation issues in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The administrator of PennDOT is the Pennsylvania Secretary of Transportation, currently Allen D. Biehler, P.E. to move 5 million cubic yards of earth and rock. The earthwork earth·work n. 1. In addition to earthwork, Baker Heavy and Highway will install 13,000 feet of drainage piping ranging in size from 18 to 66 inches. The corridor intersects two streams that will be crossed with precast concrete box culverts. Work began September 14 and is expected to conclude in May 2000.
