), announced today that the design-build team of Tompkins/Baker has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE USACE United States Army Corps of Engineers ), Norfolk District, to design and construct the up to $90 million Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC TRADOC Training & Doctrine Command (US Army) ) headquarters facility at Fort Eustis, Virginia. The total constructed value of the facility includes a $78.1 million initial construction value and a future construction option of $11.6 million.

Baker will provide a full-range of planning, architectural and interior design, and landscape architecture services for the 260,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art, LEED Silver-certified building which, when completed, will be one of three "4-star" U.S. Army headquarters. The facility will provide high quality, private-sector/commercial-style office, auditorium and conference space.
