), announced today that it has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE USACE United States Army Corps of Engineers ) Transatlantic Programs Center (TAC 1. TAC - Translator Assembler-Compiler. For Philco 2000.

) for architecture-engineering services in its Area of Responsibility, which includes the Middle East, the Arabian Gulf States, Central Asia and Africa. Baker was one of four awardees of the indefinite delivery contract, which is for one year and may be extended by up to four additional years at the government's discretion. The maximum value of the contract for the entire five-year performance period for all awardees is $240 million.

Under this contract, Baker may be called upon to provide a full-range of design and construction management services. Specific work will be defined in individual task orders and may range from the initial stages of program development and planning through all aspects of design to construction management services.
