Under this $2.8 million contract, Baker will evaluate the existing condition of the I-15 corridor and develop engineering solutions to solve current traffic and infrastructure deficiencies. Potential solutions will be evaluated to see if they address the purpose and need of the reconstruction project and also assess the associated environmental impacts. Multi-modal traffic modeling will be performed and context-sensitive solutions will be concepted as part of this contract. Finally, a focused public involvement program will be developed to solicit community input in evaluating the proposed solutions. The project will take approximately two years to complete.
