Baker has been named executive vice president of Sysco Food Services of Iowa Inc., a SYSCO subsidiary located in Ankeny, Iowa. Ms. Baker, currently senior vice president and chief financial officer at that operation, will assume her new duties effective June 29, 2003, the beginning of SYSCO's fiscal year 2004.

, said Ms. Baker, 41, joined SYSCO as a staff accountant for the Iowa operation in 1985 and was promoted to assistant controller in 1987. In July of 1996 she was named controller and later that same year progressed to director of finance and chief financial officer. Ms. Baker was appointed vice president of finance and CFO See Chief Financial Officer.  in 1997 and in 2001 she was named to her current duties.

A native of Newton, Iowa, she and her husband, Brian, reside in Norwalk, Iowa, with their sons Nathan and Nicholas.
