Also in 2001, Reuters and Instinet will consolidate 1,800 Manhattan-based staff from seven locations into 19 floors comprising 570,000 square feet.

3 Times Square is the second major commercial development to be constructed in the revitalized Times Square. The area is benefiting from incentives provided by Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani and Governor George Pataki.

In addition to serving as Reuters' headquarters, 3 Times Square will offer for leasing five floors with approximately 150,000 square feet of commercial space in the tower of the building, and 50,000 square feet of retail space on three levels. There will also be more than 30,000 square feet of state-of-the-art exterior signage. All the leasable space will benefit from the technologically advanced and environmentally-friendly infrastructure that the Rudins have become known for delivering since their successful development of the New York Information Technology Center at 55 Broad Street, 110 Wall Street and the Long Island Technology Center River. 3 Times Square tenants will also benefit from the Times Square tax incentive program.

32 Avenue of the Americas, the landmark, 29-story AT&T worldwide headquarters, is the most recent acquisition to join the Rudin's technology advanced commercial property portfolio. The building will yield 700,000 square feet of leasable space, which will be enhanced in ways to enable e-businesses to thrive in the coming centuries. This building will be transformed into The New York Global Connectivity Center.

The Rudins' revolutionary adaptive retrofitting of the former Drexel Burnham Lambert Drexel Burnham Lambert was a major Wall Street investment banking firm, which first rose to prominence and then was driven into bankruptcy in the 1980s by its involvement in illegal activities in the junk bond market, driven by Drexel employee Michael Milken.  headquarters into the New York Information Technology Center thrust the company into worldwide prominence as developers at the forefront of providing totally-wired work environments to tenants requiring global connectivity.
