, today announced the appointment of David Shpilberg to Director and Head of Bain & Company's Worldwide Information Technology Practice.

Shpilberg will focus on enhancing results for clients under the premise that technology must be tied to sound business strategy. He will be based at Bain's New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 office in Times Square.

Shpilberg comes to Bain & Company with more than 28 years leading and participating in a wide variety of corporate transformations involving information technology from strategy development through implementation. Shpilberg will continue to build the firm's IT Practice globally. His interests and expertise revolve around helping clients solve complicated management problems.

Prior to joining Bain, Shpilberg held various positions at esteemed companies which include: Nimbus Group, Inc., Knight Trading Group, Inc., Ernst & Young LLP LLP - Lower Layer Protocol , Goldman, Sachs and Company, and Coopers & Lybrand. Most recently he was interim Chief Executive Officer of Nimbus Group, where he was responsible for initiating the transition of the company into a leading business-to-business air taxi service in the Americas. Before Nimbus, Shpilberg was Chief Operating Officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)
