Bailout hailed by Salmond; ECONOMY IN CRISIS ++.


FIRST Minister Alex Salmond Alexander Elliot Anderson Salmond, known as Alex Salmond (born December 31, 1954, Linlithgow), is a Scottish politician, and the current First Minister of Scotland, heading a minority government.  yesterday welcomed a pounds 20billion funding package for small businesses.

He told Glasgow Chamber of Commerce: "It is the first approach which actually gets to the heart of what the logjam log·jam
