You are hereby notified that a Class Action has been commenced in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado The United States District Court for the District of Colorado is the Federal district court whose jurisdiction is the state of Colorado.

Qwest Communications Corporation is a long distance subsidiary of Qwest that was, until 1995, known as Southern Pacific Telecommunications Company.
 International, Inc. common stock during the period April 19, 2000, through and including February 13, 2002.

The Complaint charges Qwest Communications International, Inc., and certain of its officers, with violations of federal securities laws. Specifically, plaintiffs have brought claims under sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 10b-5 promulgated prom·ul·gate
