During their recent training session, the team were visited by General Organisation for Youth and Sports' sports affairs undersecretary Abdulaziz Al Ashraf. Al Ashraf, who was briefed on the team's training programme, urged the players put up their best performance in the championship. He conveyed the greetings of Goys president Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa to members of the team and wished them success. On his part, Bahrain Volleyball Association's general secretary Feras Al Halwaji expressed appreciation for the significant role of the Goys' president in supporting the team for the GCC championship. Al Halwaji said the association officials have been working hard with the team in recent weeks and that the players are determined to come back to the kingdom with the trophy.
