Bahrain Bourse chairman Yousuf Abdulla Humood attended the meeting along with the exchange's executive committee members. BCCI board of directors and executive committee members also attended. A presentation, highlighting key elements of Bahrain Bourse's strategy approved by the bourse's management was staged. It included all aspects of work, both legislative and technical, during the coming period. The presentation also highlighted the key areas of co-operation between the exchange and BCCI that can contribute to the development of various sectors in the national economy. Humood highlighted the vital and effective role BCCI can play in developing and stimulating the economic activity, as well as supporting the ideas and projects that can promote the local economy in Bahrain. 'Meeting officials from various institutions can assist in finding common areas of co-operation to capitalise on in order to intensify in·ten·si·fy v. in·ten·si·fied, in·ten·si·fy·ing, in·ten·si·fies v.tr. 1. 'This will help overcome the obstacles that can slow down the development process between the various components of the kingdom's economy.'
