Bahrain Air will commence flights to Baghdad, Najaf.


Bahrain Bahrain or Bahrein (both: bärān`, bə–), officially Kingdom of Bahrain, constitutional monarchy and archipelago (2005 est. pop. 688,300), 266 sq mi (689 sq km), in the Persian Gulf.  Air, the first privately owned National Carrier of Bahrain with affordable fares in both Premium and Economy classes, announcedAathat it has taken the necessary preparations to commence direct commercial flights from Bahrain to the Republic of Iraq Iraq or Irak (both: ēräk`, ĭrăk`), officially Republic of Iraq, republic (2005 est. pop. 26,075,000), 167,924 sq mi (434,924 sq km), SW Asia. , Baghdad Baghdad or Bagdad (both: băg`dăd, bägdäd`), city (1987 pop. 3,841,268), capital of Iraq, central Iraq, on both banks of the Tigris River. The city's principal economic activity is oil refining.  and Najaf international Airports, at a total of seven flights a week, whereby two weekly flights to Baghdad International Airport Baghdad International Airport (IATA: SDA, ICAO: ORBI) (Arabic: مطار بغداد الدولي; formerly Saddam International Airport , and five weekly flights to Najaf International Airport, starting August 28. Moreover Bahrain Air just added the Saudi capital Riyadh to its network, starting operations on September 28, which will bring up the total of destinations to 19
