Baffled by CRSC CRDC position.Reading the senseless sense·less adj. 1. Lacking sense or meaning; meaningless. 2. Deficient in sense; foolish or stupid. 3. Insensate; unconscious. rationalization on Concurrent Retirement and Disability Payment (CRDC CRDC Cotton Research and Development Corporation (Australia) CRDC Colorado Rural Development Council CRDC Capital Regional Development Council CRDC Crowley's Ridge Development Council, Inc. ) and Combat-Related Special Compensation (CRSC CRSC Combat-Related Special Compensation (US military) CRSC Center for Research in Scientific Computation CRSC Northern Californian Rabbit Specialty Club CRSC Calibration and Repair Support Company ), I find myself somewhat confused. I'm baffled as to the logic and reasoning behind the 20-year rule that favors career officers and senior enlisted personnel exclusively. Why are combat-wounded veterans with less than 20 years of service excluded from CRDC/CRSC legislation but otherwise meet the Purple Heart Purple Heart U.S. medal awarded to those wounded in military action. [Am. Hist.: Misc.] See : Bravery and 60% disability requirements? If a General, a Sgt. major and a Pfc. were all wounded by the same enemy explosion and each suffered a debilitating de·bil·i·tat·ing adj. Causing a loss of strength or energy. Debilitating Weakening, or reducing the strength of. Mentioned in: Stress Reduction and permanent disability rated 60% or higher, why shouldn't they all be entitled to CRDC or CRSC? Under the current legislation, guess who gets "the short end of the stick?" This is not a fair and equitable policy for the junior ranks whose officers and enlisted men are severely wounded in combat, and for some, seeing an abrupt end to a promising military career. Rank may have its privileges but not when subordinates are left to suffer. Arthur B. Diabo, Kahnaake, Quebec, Canada |
