Most badgers are large, nocturnal, burrowing animals, with broad, heavy bodies, long snouts, large, sharp claws, and long, grizzled fur. Paper Company today announced the selection of Harold J. Bergman as a Director of the Company. The appointment fills one of two open Director positions that the Company wishes to fill before year-end. Mr. Bergman spent his entire business career in the paper industry beginning in 1958 when he served in various marketing and sales positions with American Can Company. Between 1979 and 1988 he held senior positions with Little Rapids Corporation and the Sorg Division of Mosinee Paper. In 1989 he was named President of Riverside Paper Company of Appleton, Wisconsin Appleton is a city in the U.S. state of Wisconsin, on the Fox River, 100 miles (161 km) north of Milwaukee. As of the 2005 census estimate, the city had a total population of 70,217. . He also served as a Director of Riverside, retiring from both positions in 1999. In making the announcement, Harvey Harvey, city (1990 pop. 29,771), Cook co., NE Ill., a suburb S of Chicago; inc. 1895. Its manufactures include steel castings, metal products, chemicals, machinery, and electronic equipment. Harvey has an oil research center. The city was founded by Turlington W. Buek, Director and past president stated, "Mr. Bergman's past paper making management experience will be invaluable to Badger. He truly understands the challenges facing smaller industry participants such as Badger and the current competitive market dynamics." The Directors also announced that they had launched an aggressive search in late September to fill the position of President that was vacated due to the death of Thomas (language) Thomas - A language compatible with the language Dylan(TM).
