Some of the changes that took place at Badger Mining since winning in 2006 included completion of an expansion, updating the interior of one of its resource centers and enhancement of the wellness program. According to a company press release, it offers employees flexible scheduling, 3% company match on 401(k) accounts, profit sharing profit sharing, arrangement by which employees receive, in addition to their wages, a share of the net profits of a business. The purpose is to give them an incentive to increase their output through enhanced morale, less wasteful use of materials, better care of , 100% paid premium for standard health care coverage, training programs and tuition reimbursement.
