Listeriosis is an illness caused by the bacterium Listeria monocytogenes that is acquired by eating contaminated food. The organism can spread to the blood stream and central nervous system.

The preparation consists of six naturally occurring bacteriophages isolated from the environment, studied and carefully selected for inclusion in LMP-102[TM] by scientists. The preparation, when sprayed onto ready-to-eat products, significantly reduces contamination of those foods by L. monocytogenes. The product is all-natural. Media or components of animal origin are not used during its preparation. It does not contain preservatives preservatives,
