Carter has always been vocal about his preference for rock music. Now he is combining his affinity to rock music with his experience in the industry to launch BIK's career. Carter says, "I am really looking forward to helping these guys get to where they want to go. They have the talent, and the drive. I believe together, we will be able to create something really cool that everyone will love."

BIK formed in early 2000 as Born Into Kaos. The group comprises Redd (Frank Prevatte) on vocals, BP (Brent Pongetti ) on guitar, James Granell on bass, Lane Smith on drums and newest member DJ Promo DJ Promo, born Sebastian Hoff, is a DJ known for developing hardcore techno and dark music. History

Promo came into contact with the hardcore sound and started DJing in 1992. In those years he listened to house, hiphouse, and hiphop.
, as DJ/rapper. BIK have been working, with Carter's guidance, writing songs and recording a demo. Guitarist, BP says, "People should know that (Nick)'s into rock, and that he's not just living in a pop bubble." Lead singer Redd adds "It's cool having someone our age that knows about music, is so involved in us, and wants to help us grow."

BIK leave Monday, January 15, on their first solo tour. They will be playing one-off dates supporting Fuel and Buckcherry. The mini-tour ends in New York New York, state, United States
