Backing in library initiative.


GREETS Green Greets Green is a residential area of West Bromwich in the West Midlands of England. It was mostly developed between 1920 and 1970 with a mix of private and council housing, though there are still buildings in the area which date from before the First World War.  Partnership is backing a campaign aimed at boosting the number of library members in Sandwell Sandwell is a metropolitan borough in the West Midlands of England. It is made up of the Black Country towns of Oldbury, Rowley Regis, Smethwick, Tipton, Wednesbury and West Bromwich. .

The West Bromwich-based group is backing the drive to mark the National Year of Reading.

Sandwell Council wants to encourage more people to take advantage of the borough's award-winning network of 19 libraries.

The National Year of Reading is a 12-month focus on reading in all of its forms, with libraries set to play a pivotal role in the celebrations.

Joining the library service is free and just fill in a form at any of the borough's libraries, two mobile libraries or at www.libraries.sandwell.gov.uk
