Back to school with nuts.Planters Planters is an American snack food company under Kraft Foods manufacturing, best known for its nuts and the Mr. Peanut icon that symbolizes them. Started by Italian immigrants Amedeo Obici and Mario Peruzzi in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, in 1906, it was incorporated in 1908 , manufactured by Trigon Snacks, is leading the way in healthy snacking with the launch of a new range of Trail Mix snacking nuts. The individual packs have been developed with convenience in mind and are aimed at teenagers and young adults. In the eight-strong range four of the products have been granted the use of the Real Choice logo which indicates that the products have been nutritionally nu·tri·tion n. 1.
