Back to School Basketball Jam Camp to Help Albuquerque Youth Step Up Their Game.


ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- The Kenny Thomas Foundation Back to School Basketball Jam Camp will be held Monday, August 17 through Wednesday, August 19, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Open to students in the entire area, the camp will remain at its adopted 2009-2010 high school, Highland High School Highland High School or Highlands High School may refer to:

The Kenny Thomas Foundation seeks to implement tools to improve the youth success rate. The Foundation aims to accomplish this goal through college scholarships awarded to graduating college-bound seniors, and its Education Initiative programs. In July 2008, two Albuquerque High School students were each awarded a $6,000 college scholarship.

The camp also will incorporate "Hoops-n-Scoop" enrichment sessions. Here the youth will chat with respected leaders and question college administrators about post-high-school education. School supplies and other giveaways will be provided.
