Manager Chris Walkden said they were lucky to be alive. ``Why someone would be so cruel is beyond me,'' said Ms Walkden. ``We had torrential rain on the night they were found. They wouldn't have survived the night.'' They were found by Ms Walkden's son, Lee Sparks, who was out walking dogs with his girlfriend. The rabbits, which have only one ear each, have been named Vincent and Pablo after one-eared Vincent van Goch and fellow artist Pablo Picasso. ``I've fallen in love with them and decided to keep them myself,'' said Ms Walkden. |
