EASTENDERS star Barbara Windsor has admitted she would like a spell on rival show Coronation Street Coronation Street is an award-winning British soap opera. It is the longest-running television soap opera in the United Kingdom, first broadcast on Friday, 9 December, 1960 in the Granada region of ITV. .

The actress, 71, said it would be good to add to her list of career achievements.

Speaking at a party after the Bafta awards, she said: "I kind of have worked with most people I'd want to.

"I suppose I wouldn't mind having a go in Coronation Street for a bit, you know, see how they do it." But Albert Square's Peggy Peggy may refer to:
