BZW appoints Chief Operating Officer in North America.

Quental joins BZW from Bankers Trust Company where he was Managing Director of Global Asset Services. In that role he was responsible for the general management of BT's $400 billion Asset Services business. Prior to Bankers Trust, he had spent six years at The Chase Manhattan Bank The Chase Manhattan Bank, now part of JPMorgan Chase, was formed by the merger of the Chase National Bank and the Bank of the Manhattan Company in 1955. The bank is headquartered in New York City. , most recently as a Vice President, Operations and Systems. He also spent four years as a Division Manager of Corntex Information Systems, Inc., a financial software and consulting services company. He will join BZW on April 28, 1997.

Commenting on his appointment, Callum McCarthy, CEO, North America said, "Greg comes to BZW with excellent credentials in general management and operations. We are delighted that he will be assuming the key position of COO in North America at a time when our businesses are expanding rapidly."

Quental received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Providence College in 1981.
