BYK-Chemie introduces Ceraflour 928.


BYK-Chemie has introduced Ceraflour 928, which is a micronized wax additive for improved mechanical properties of coating systems and is recommended for aqueous, solvent-borne, and radiation curable wood and furniture coatings, industrial and can coatings as well as overprint varnishes.

The additive improves scratch and abrasion resistance and shows a good matting effect. It has a wide resin compatibility can be easily dispersed in aqueous systems. Additionally, Ceraflour 928 shows less foam stabilization and "creaming" than other commonly used wax additives, according to the company. More info: BYK-Chemie, Web: www.byk-chemie.com.
