The period beginning at the start of the calendar year up to the current date.
 1996 income of $1,428,000 or $1.14 per share.

The return on average assets for this nine-month period was 1.42%. Return on average equity was 15.87%.

Net income for Third Quarter 1997 was $809,000 or $0.63 per share compared to $480,000 or $0.38 per share for the same period in 1996. Third Quarter 1997 earnings reflect a 1.53% return on average assets and a 17.88% return on average equity. Total assets of the Corporation at Sept. 30, 1997 were $218,234,000.
