BVC Corp. Selects Lighthouse's LED Screens To Be Virginia's First LED Screen Available for Rent; State's Largest Rental Company Sees Demand For LED Video Screens.

(BVC), Virginia's largest rental company, has chosen Lighthouse LED video screens to be its first LED video product offering to that region.

Based in Richmond, VA, and in business for the past 36 years, BVC has purchased 25 panels of the Lighthouse R10 indoor/outdoor LED video screens, and plans to make them the first rental offering of LED screens to the area. Because of LED's low power consumption and high brightness video clarity, there has been steady demand for LEDs for various uses such as signage, advertising, and event video projection.

BVC expects to see rentals of the LED screens for various outdoor and indoor venues, such as corporate tents where lighting would no longer have to be blacked out, movie nights that would not have to wait until dark to start, as well as college graduations and concerts where there is a need to display video or images to viewers located a great distance away.

"LED screens are perfect when conventional projection isn't bright enough or competes with other ambient and ultraviolet lighting. Currently there is nothing remotely close to this available to rental customers in our area," said Dan Yeary, vice president of BVC. BVC's new stable of LED screens are lightweight and feature a fast rig single kingpin design for quick set-up and strip down of the screen. With cost effectiveness always in mind, the R10 was designed for easy maintenance with a clip-on IM (intelligent module) feature, which provides screwless maintenance on LED modules and ultra low power consumption of 100W/panel (average power consumption) at 2000 NITS brightness.

The purchase of the LED screens by BVC comes on the heels of several new product launches at Lighthouse as it continues to meet high demands in the surging digital signage and rental and staging markets.
