BV Rolls out Vineyard to Vegas Tour -- Grape Stomp to Benefit San Francisco Project Open Hand.


NAPA, Calif. -- Beaulieu Vineyard Beaulieu Vineyard was established in 1900 by Georges de Latour and his wife Fernande when they purchased 4 acres in Rutherford, California. The winery derives its name from the french phrase "Quel beau lieu" which translated to english means "What a beautiful place , historic Napa vintner and sponsor of the Las Vegas Las Vegas (läs vā`gəs), city (1990 pop. 258,295), seat of Clark co., S Nev.; inc. 1911. It is the largest city in Nevada and the center of one of the fastest-growing urban areas in the United States.  Centennial, is taking the winery on the road this summer in a big, red, BV-branded tour bus. The BV Vineyard to Vegas tour will stop in San Francisco San Francisco (săn frănsĭs`kō), city (1990 pop. 723,959), coextensive with San Francisco co., W Calif., on the tip of a peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, which are connected by the strait known as the Golden  on Friday, May 27th and co-host a grape stomping competition with local radio station Star 101.3 FM to benefit Project Open Hand.

The BV Vineyard to Vegas activities will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on May 27th at Justin Herman Plaza on the Embarcadero. Those attending can participate in the grape stomp, sample BV's award-winning wines and play wine education games for prizes. Participants will also have the chance to win tickets to the Road to Vegas Collective Soul concert at The Grand Ballroom at Regency Center on May 27th. In addition, Project Open Hand will award one lucky participant with a trip for two to Las Vegas.
