For example, in its 20-plus years the Eugene Celebration The Eugene Celebration is an annual community celebration and civic event held in downtown Eugene, Oregon, United States. Featuring bands and performers from throughout the Pacific Northwest, the three-day festival is held in early September and attracts more than 40,000 attendees has traditionally taken place the third weekend in September. The heart of Eugene Celebration programming is the music, but even if you're not the type to get right in front of the stage and shake your groove thang, the music certainly provides a festivity downtown that is unmatched the rest of the year. Other nearby communities will be alight with activity this weekend, too.
