Well, I see no reason to apologize for my films-to-look-forward-to picks of January 1999. After all, this time last year, everyone else thought ``Eyes Wide Shut'' would be a masterpiece so, by comparison, my choices of ``Anywhere but Here'' (granted, that one sucked), ``Cradle Will Rock'' (interesting), ``Fight Club'' (weirdly interesting), ``Summer of Sam'' (underappreciated) and ``Magnolia'' (hey, my favorite My Favorite is an independent synthpop band from Long Island, New York. They released two CDs: Love at Absolute Zero and Happiest Days of Our Lives.
