BUSINESS TODAY: New director; AIRPORTS.DURHAM Tees Valley Airport Durham Tees Valley Airport (IATA: MME, ICAO: EGNV) is an airport in North East England, located approximately 10 km (6 miles) east of Darlington, about 16 km (10 miles) south west of Middlesbrough and 39 km (24 miles) south of Durham. has appointed Kerry Quinn as its new director, with the current boss Hugh Lang promoted to group airports director for Peel Airports. Ms Quinn has been promoted from director of operations at the airport. She first arrived at Durham Tees Valley The Tees Valley is an area the North East of England. It can be described as "greater Teesside" and consists of the four unitary authorities created by the breakup of the County of Cleveland in 1996: Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland, and Stockton-On-Tees along with in 1999 as head of human resources The fancy word for "people." The human resources department within an organization, years ago known as the "personnel department," manages the administrative aspects of the employees. and then took on extra responsibilities including terminal and airfield management before becoming operations director in 2005. Mr Lang, who has been director for seven years, will now oversee the operation of all three airports in the Peel Group - Durham Tees Valley, John Lennon Airport in Liverpool and the Robin Hood Doncaster Sheffield Airport, with each of the new airport directors reporting directly to him. |
