BUSINESS NOTES SUPPLY AGREEMENT REACHED BY FIRMS.


CAMARILLO - California Amplifier Inc. announced Friday that it has signed a three-year exclusive supply agreement with Off Air Electronics and Chorus Communications Chorus Communications is a communications provider in Ireland, it offers internet, television and telephone services. It is owned by Liberty Global Europe, and ultimately controlled by John C. Malone's Liberty Media.  for two-way fixed wireless transceivers.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Off Air Electronics is the system integrator for Chorus Communications.

California Amplifier transceivers have been designed for two-way wireless applications such as high-speed Internet See broadband.  access, private data networking and telephone services.

Philip Cox, vice president of Wireless Products at California Amplifier, said the company is excited to be working with Off Air and Chorus as both companies expand their service offerings to include high-speed Internet and other two-way services.

``We expect substantial revenue from this relationship since the revenue per subscriber is expected to nearly triple that of our ordinary dial-up subscriber,'' said Albanese in a statement.

Sephias recalled for valve repair

 America Friday announced a voluntary recall of 1998 and 1999 Sephia compact sedans to replace the on-board refueling vapor recovery Vapor (or vapour) recovery is the process of recovering the vapors of gasoline or other fuels, so that they do not escape into the atmosphere. This is often done (or required by law) at filling stations, in order to reduce noxious and potentially explosive fumes and  valve.

A total of 100,137 Sephias are being recalled due to a miscalibrated ORVR ORVR Onboard Refueling Vapor Recovery  valve that could make it difficult to completely fill the fuel tank, according to Kia.

Sephia owners are being asked by mail to bring their vehicle to a Kia dealership so the valve can be replaced. The procedure will take about two hours and will be done at no charge.
