Toymaker (real name Cosmo Krank) is a brand new, original villain in The Batman. He first appeared in Cash for Toys. He is voiced by Patton Oswalt.
 JAKKS Pacific was hit with a patent infringement suit Wednesday by New Jersey-based competitor Rose Art Industries. The suit, filed in U.S. District Court in Newark, alleges violation of Rose Art's patent for the Floam molding compound. JAKKS' subsidiary Flying Colors offers a similar product, Zyrofoam. Rose Art is seeking damages and an injunction barring future marketing of the product.

JAKKS' representatives were unable for comment.

Complaint names Southland Title

BURBANK - The California Department of Insurance The California Department of Insurance (CDI), established in 1868, is the angency charged with overseeing the regulation of insurance regulations, enforcing statutes mandating consumer protections, educating consumers, and fostering the stability of insurance markets in the state  filed a formal complaint against Southland Title Corp. for unlawful title rebates, including a demand for an $8.8 million penalty. The complaint alleges that Southland unlawfully reimbursed unnamed realty agents in Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego for referring clients for title services in exchange for sports tickets, fishing trips and food.

WESTLAKE VILLAGE - Thomas Russell quit as chief financial officer of Westlake Village-based Franklin Telecommunications Corp., it was announced Wednesday.

Russell, who joined Franklin as CFO and director in October 1996, is relocating to another part of the country.
