Foundation Health wins `buy' rating

Analyst Gary Frazier cited a number of investment positives as support for his rating, including that premium trends are rising faster than medical costs, which is favorable for margins and is expected to continue through 2001.

Along with the ``buy'' Frazier set a share price target of $23.

PALO ALTO - AltaVista Co. CEO Rod Schrock resigned Thursday, the latest chapter in the tumultuous saga of the Internet search engine company.

Schrock, 41, said he resigned from the Palo Alto-based company voluntarily so he could spend more time with his family, which includes two children - a 6-year-old and a 4-year-old.

Schrock, who will retain his stock options in AltaVista, will remain an adviser to the company, a pioneer in the search technology that helps direct Web surfers to their desired destination.

Disney changes emergency policy

ANAHEIM - Disneyland has instructed ride attendants to directly call 911 in case of an emergency, a major change in policy just weeks after a child was critically injured on Roger Rabbit Car Toon Spin.

The change was outlined in a memo distributed resortwide on Oct. 7, dated two weeks after the accident that injured Brandon Zucker. In case of an emergency, it directs employees to dial 911 directly unless they are using a radio. Eli Lilly abandons new work on Prozac

INDIANAPOLIS - Eli Lilly & Co. is abandoning the development of an enhanced form of the antidepressant antidepressant, any of a wide range of drugs used to treat psychic depression. Coca-Cola to unveil new energy drink

ATLANTA - Coca-Cola will introduce a new energy drink and significantly expand the sale of Fanta in selected U.S. markets.

An orange-colored, citrus-flavored energy drink ``with a taste kick'' will be launched next month in some Southeastern, Southwestern and Northeastern cities, stated Jackie Nickel, director of new product initiatives for Coke North America.
