BUSINESS NOTES ALIGN MAKES DEAL FOR IMAGING GEAR.


VALENCIA - 3D Systems Corp. and Align Technology Inc., the inventor of the Invisalign teeth straighteners, announced on Wednesday a two-year contract for as many as 39 of 3D Systems' top-of-the-line solid imaging machines.

The contract includes a long-term commitment to deliver consumable resin materials for the systems, as well as machine maintenance.

Forbes online arm hires SageMetrics

NORTH HOLLYWOOD - SageMetrics Corp. announced on Wednesday that Forbes.com Inc. has selected it to be the outsourced business intelligence provider for Forbes online data analysis.

Forbes.com will use SageMetrics' data analysis to report on all Web log data information at www.forbes.com.

Boeing satellite slated for launch

A Boeing 601HP spacecraft built for PanAmSat Corp. is scheduled to be launched May 15 aboard a Proton rocket from Baikonur, Kazakstan, Los Angeles-based Boeing Satellite Systems announced Wednesday.

Hanmi Bank set to buy Cal Center

Hanmi Financial Corp., parent company of Hanmi Bank, announced plans on Wednesday to acquire California Center Bank in a merger valued at $103 million.
