The Fanconi Anemia Research Fund has received donations from the following: the Autzen Foundation, $2,000; the Chambers Family Foundation, $2,000; Chiles Foundation, $5,000; Edwin E. and June E. Cone Fund, $2,000; the Giustina Foundation, $1,000; John Gray Charitable Trust, $3,000; Mario and Alma Pastega Family Foundation, $1,500; Roberts Foundation, $5,000; the Harold and Arlene Schnitzer CARE Foundation, $10,000; Harold and Margaret Taylor Foundation, $5,000; Theta Chi Treasury, University of Oregon, $1,695; and Rose E. Tucker Charitable Turst, $1,500.

March of Dimes received $2.6 million from "Be a Hero for Babies Day," run by Farmers Insurance.

India Partners helped secure a $25,000 grant from the Eugene and Delta Rotary Clubs, District 5110 and the Rotary Foundation to purchase and supply a mobile medical clinic that will serve rural villages in Andhra Pradesh, India.

OnPoint Community Credit Union recently presented $2,500 to Children's Miracle Network for Oregon Hospitals.

Pearl Buck Center recently received the following donations: Oregon Community Foundation, $50,000 for the capital campaign; R. W. Family Fund, $2,500; Jerome S. and Barbara Bischoff Fund, $47,000; Baker Family Foundation, $25,000; Register-Guard, $50,000 for the new facility; PGE Foundation, $5,000 for the parent mentor position; 20/30 Club Foundation, $2,100 for classroom supplies; JFR Foundation, $20,000; Pacific Continental Bank, a $750 scholarship; Albertson's Community Partners, $729; San Francisco Foundation, $15,000; PeaceHealth, $2,500; the Chambers Family Foundation, $5,000; U.S. Bank, $500; Wal-Mart, $500; McKay Family Foundation, $15,000; the Collins Foundation, $10,000 for the food program; Eugene Rotary Children With Special Needs Committee, $1,000 for school scholarships; Samuel S. Johnson, $1,500 for scholarships; and W.A. Woodard Foundation, $10,000 for the capital construction project.

Center for Family Development, a non-profit mental health and alcohol and other drug recovery agency, received $10,000 from the Chambers Family Foundation for the continuation of tutoring services for youth at the Department of Youth services.

Cardinal Services Inc. donated $5,000 to American Cancer Society's "Relay For Life."

Family Relief Nursery, which provides center and home-based services, received $15,000 from Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation.

The Oregon Pacific Chapter of the American Red Cross has recently received the following donations: Allann Bros., $700; Ambrosia Restaurant, $1,121; Bay Area Hospital, $1,000; Bene Gourmet Pizza, $690; Bess Spiva Timmons Foundation, $13,300; Eugene Downtown Lions Club, $689; Eugene Emeralds Baseball, $1,000; Louie's Village Restaurant, $570; Sause Bros. Ocean Towing, $500; Steamboat Inn, $700; Sunrise Oriental Foods, $500; Wal-Mart, $1,000; and Weyerhaeuser Co., $3,000.

HIV Alliance received the following: Arlie and Company, $10,000 for events sponsorships; Lane Individual Practice Association, $5,000; and First Baptist Church of Eugene, a van for needle exchange and outreach programs.

Sheldon High School Booster Club received $5,600 from Safeway.

During April, May and June, Pacific Continental Bank donated the following: American Red Cross, "Meals on Wheels," $2,000; BRING Recycling, $2,000; WomenSpace, $2,000; Oregon Festival of American Music, $2,000; Laurel Hill Center, $1,000; CASA of Lane County, $2,500; Pac West Tennis Tournament, $6,500; Butte to Butte, $1,600; Eugene Emeralds, $6,500; University of Oregon, "Scholars on Board," $5,000; and Sacred Heart Medical Foundation, $20,000.

Arbor South Architecture/Construction, which builds houses, churches, a clinic and an orphanage in Mexico every year, was awarded $1,000 to give to a charity of their choice by the National Association of Home Builders. The money was donated to Saint Vincent DePaul of Lane County.
