The Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation has given $10,000 to Lane County's Womenspace Domestic Violence Services for its youth program. Fund has given Boys & Clubs of Emerald Valley $5,000 to support Power Hour, an afterschool tutoring program that teaches homework skills. BRING Recycling's capital campaign has successfully matched a $250,000 challenge grant from the Gray Family Fund of the Oregon Community Foundation, with gifts from more than 375 individuals and businesses in the past year. The total in matching gifts came to $258,000. BRING has raised a total of $1.17 million to date, with a goal of $1.84 million, to build a new headquarters building in Glenwood.
