The Chambers Family Foundation has made a $5,000 gift to the Assistance League of Eugene to support Operation School Bell. Assistance League of Eugene is a nonprofit organization that develops projects to assist children and adults in the greater Eugene/Springfield area.

The first full-service children's hospital in the Pacific Northwest, Doernbecher provides full-spectrum pediatric care.

Wells Fargo has donated $5,990 to public education through its Team Up for Our Schools program, created to help schools during a time of tight budgets. Tin Men Supply of Centralia, Wash., fabricated the material into 523 10-foot panels. Atlas Bolt and Screw of Salem donated 20,000 screws. Mercy Corps of Portland arranged shipping and logistics.
