BUSINESS EXPO SET FOR RUN.

Valencia (välān`thēä), autonomous region (1990 pop. 3,902,429) and former kingdom, E Spain, on the Mediterranean. It now comprises the provinces of Alicante, Castellón, and Valencia.
 - Crews raised the tent tent, portable shelter of canvas, skins, felt, matting, or other material usually supported by poles and used chiefly by nomads, hunters, and campers. Tents have been used by pastoral peoples since ancient times and are mentioned in the Old Testament and in Homer.  Tuesday for this weekend's Home and Business Expo, a showcase for businesses and others that will be held at College of the Canyons College of the Canyons is one of the fastest-growing community colleges in the state. According to the National Junior College Research Association, College of the Canyons consistently ranks in the top 50 community colleges in the nation. .

The annual event, sponsored by the Santa Clarita Valley The Santa Clarita Valley is the valley of the Santa Clara River in Southern California. It stretches through Los Angeles County and Ventura County. Its main population center is the city of Santa Clarita. The valley was part of the 48,612-acre (19,672.  Chamber of Commerce, will include scores of exhibits, a community stage, contests and entertainment.

Organizers expect 4,500 people over the three days. The Expo runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday Sunday: see Sabbath; week.  in the campus parking lot, 26455 N. Rockwell Canyon Road, Valencia.

``Taste of Expo,'' featuring samples from 30 restaurants and catering companies in the area, will open the event on Friday. Tickets are $10. For details, call the chamber office at (661) 259-4787.

This is the 20th annual Expo, a program that gives chamber members a stage to promote local business.

The Expo will feature approximately 150 exhibit booths by chamber members. On Sunday, it will be held in conjunction with the weekly Auto Fair used-car sale and a farmers market held in adjoining parking lots.
