BUSINESS EXPO CASHES IN; ANNUAL SCV EVENT PROVIDES SHOWCASE FOR AREA COMMERCE.Byline: Stacy Brown Daily News Staff Writer Local businesses displayed their goods to hundreds of residents Saturday during the second day of the Santa Clarita Santa Clarita, city (1990 pop. 110,642), Los Angeles co., S Calif., suburb 30 mi (48 km) NW of downtown Los Angeles, on the Santa Clara River; inc. 1987. Chamber of Commerce, this year's expo features 170 local businesses and vendors under numerous tents and booths including several theme areas and exhibits. The company is responsible for the master community planning of Valencia, as well as the management of farm land elsewhere in the state. , Valencia Bank and Trust, and the Hampton Inn. Based on attendance figures from previous years, Popp said up to 18,000 people are expected to visit the expo through today. The expo is scheduled to be held today from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is located at the corner of McBean Parkway and Valencia Boulevard.
