Building the Foundations of Your Business - Six-month class designed for entrepreneurs in their first year of business who want to take their businesses to the next level. Time: 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., first and third Wednesdays, starting April 6.

Going into Business: Taking the Next Steps - 25-hour workshop on owning and operating a small business. Time: 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, April 5 to June 7. Cost: $219, including materials. To register, call 687-0611.

Writing for Supervisors - Basic business writing. Time: 1-4 p.m. Tuesdays, April 5-12. Cost: $119.

Quickbooks Operations Series - 30-hour class offered in two modules on basic and advanced functions of QuickBooks. Time: 9 a.m. to noon Wednesdays, March 30-June 1. Cost: Individual modules are $188 each; the series is $238.

Microsoft Powerpoint for Business or Sales Presentations - Basic Powerpoint skills required for this four-module, 21-hour series. Time: 1-4:30 p.m. Tuesdays, March 29 to May 24. Cost: The series is $250.75, individual modules are less.

Managing Data with Microsoft Access A database program for Windows, available separately or included in the Microsoft Office suite. Access is programmable using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). Access can read Paradox, dBASE and Btrieve files, and using ODBC, Microsoft SQL Server, SYBASE SQL Server and Oracle data.  - Two-module series on basic and intermediate skills. Time: 1:30 -4:30 p.m. Mondays, April 4-25. Cost: $89 for each module or $149 for the 12-hour series.
