Ron Gerweck has been named general manager of QSL Print Communications in Eugene. Gerwek, a 23-year QSL employee, replaces Pete Gribskov, who keeps the position of president.

Jeffrey Eaton has been named executive director of the Oregon Mozart Players. Eaton, a professional cellist, previously was office and development manager of Mount Pisgah Arboretum.

Emily Evans has been named 2003 Woman of the Year by the Women's Business Network in Eugene. Evans, who works at the Energy Outlet in Eugene, is WBN vice president. Members of WBN's new board of directors are: president, Lori Macedone; secretary, Leigh Strobel; treasurer, Helen Lucas; past president and newsletter, Tish Larsen; membership, Eileen Traylor; programs, Susie Pennington; arrangements, Bev Skochenko; networking, Ann Fuller; public relations, Merrie Sennett; greeters, Greta Siecinski; events, Edrie Bizak; Web editor, Laurie McClain.

Richard May of Eugene has been named wedding photographer of the year by the Professional Photographers of Oregon. Also, Bruce Berg of Springfield has received five awards from the Professional Photographers of Oregon. Berg's awards include best wedding album, best teenage girl portrait, best illustrative photograph and best senior folio.
