He attended medical school at Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine and completed his residency program at the Henry Ford Hospital Henry Ford Hospital is a hospital located in Detroit, Michigan a few blocks from Wayne State University and the New Center area, near the Fisher Building and Cadillac Place. The hospital was founded in 1915 by Henry Ford as a philanthropic project.  Department of Otolarynology in Detroit.

Dr. Amanda Mackey, a psychiatrist, has joined PeaceHealth Medical Group's Behavioral Health Services in Eugene with a primary focus of providing inpatient care at Sacred Heart Medical Center's Johnson Unit. Mackey also works one day a week in an outpatient setting in Florence. She earned her medical degree and recently completed her psychiatry residency, both at the University of Louisville See also

The following have joined Oregon Medical Group in Eugene as hospitalists (physicians who see patients exlusively in a hospital setting): Dr. Priya Carden, Dr. Christopher Sakal and Dr. Kory Huebert.

Carden attended medical school at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine The Feinberg School of Medicine is one of Northwestern University's 11 schools and colleges. It is a prestigious American medical school located in the Streeterville neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, situated near Lake Michigan and the Magnificent Mile.  in Chicago and completed her residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital. Sakal attended medical school at Sackler Medical School in New York and completed his residency at Long Island Jewish Medical School. Huebert attended the University of Kansas The University of Kansas (often referred to as KU or just Kansas) is an institution of higher learning in Lawrence, Kansas. The main campus resides atop Mount Oread.  School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita. He was previously in private practice in Colorado.

Matthew Cox has become a partner at the law firm of Leahy & Cox in Eugene, formerly Harold, Leahy & Kieran. Cox is an assistant city attorney with the city of Springfield and legal counsel to Springfield Utility Board. He also does criminal prosecution for the city of Eugene and represents private clients in real estate, land use and civil litigation An action brought in court to enforce a particular right. Good Neighbor Care Centers is moving its corporate headquarters from Springfield to 78 Centennial Loop in Eugene. The expansion, scheduled to take place during the first quarter of 2008, is to accomodate the company's growth. The available office space will increase from approximately 12,000 square feet at its current location to more than 21,000 square feet.
