Village Health, a holistic health clinic in Eugene, has hired the following: Jessica Kieras as a life coach; Dr. Jennifer Hess, chiropractor; and Julie Tenner, registered dietician. Kieras earned a Ph.D. in developmental psychology at the University of Oregon. Hess has more than 17 years of experience. She previously worked at the University of Oregon promoting ergonomics to prevent musculoskeletal injuries among workers and maintained a small chiropractic practice. Tenner earned a master's degree in public health and completed course work in human nutrition.

Oregon Medical Group of Eugene has hired ReJena Harris as director of billing services. Harris has more than 20 years of experience in the health care industry. For the past six years, she served as the president/consultant of the Harris Healthcare Group, LLC, in Nashville, Tenn.

Laurence Hamblen has been chosen as executive director of the Eugene Hearing and Speech Center. He was previously executive director of Legal Aid for 19 years.

Roehl & Sittner Investment Advisors, LLC, in Eugene has named Jayman Yi as a member of the firm. His responsibilities will include designing investment policies and maintaining client relationships. Yi has been with the group for more than 7 years.

Laurel Hill Center, a Eugene-based agency providing psychiatric rehabilitation services to Lane County adults, has promoted Shawn Murphy to director of rehabilitation services and has hired Sarah Salisbury as a rehabilitation team leader. Murphy has been with the agency since 2004. Salisbury was previously a clinical supervisor at Looking Glass New Roads Program and also worked as a marriage and family therapist in Looking Glass' counseling program.

Springfield Chamber of Commerce announced its 2007 awards June 20 at the Chamberfest celebration. Springfield Renaissance Development Corporation received the Business of the Year award for creating and opening the Richard E. Wildish Community Theater in downtown Springfield; and Thorp, Purdy, Jewett, Urness & Wilkinson, P.C., received the Pillar of the Community award for its commitment to community and personal leadership in Springfield for over 60 years.
